Dalian, People’s Republic of China, 8 September 2007 – WISekey was selected
by the World Economic Forum as one of the 100 New Champions during the first-ever
meeting of the New Champions in Dalian China. The meeting had world gathering of
senior executives of the Community of Global Growth Companies, a new strategic initiative
of the World Economic Forum to identify and engage the future champions of global
industry. The Community is composed of rapidly growing companies that have both
the aspirations and ability to successfully expand outside their domestic markets.
The new champions were selected by the WEF based on the following criteria: strong
growth, revenues of between US$100 million and US$5 billion, steady development
outside their traditional market, industry leadership, and remarkable management.
