CertifyID CRL Manager
Digital ID lifecycle management is an intrinsic mechanism of a Certification Authority.
Once an electronic identity credential has been issued to an individual or entity,
the eID will be created on a CA Server for the time of its lifecycle. Sometimes
the identity will be revoked or suspended (in much the same way a credit card is
revoked).

The CRL Manager application is an integral part of the CertifyID BlackBox™ solution
and it allows CertifyID organizations to:

In order to notify the community of such changes, this information is saved in a
Certificate Revocation List (CRL) that is hosted on a public web server, LDAP directory,
or network /disk-based location, which is used as the reference for the validation
of certificates by end users and applications relying on them.
The CertifyID Platform automatically publishes CRLs to the Web server, LDAP directory
and/or any file-based locations. Additionally it constantly monitors all published
CRLs, and notifies CA administrators if the revocation information becomes outof-
date, or cannot be accessed by relying parties.
