BlackBox Installation Requirements

Hardware requirements (min):
- 1 server PIII 1.0 Ghz / 512 MB RAM / 2X36GB HDD RAID 1 (mirroring) / NIC 10/100

HSM's as per the following list :
- 1. SafeNet Luna SA (1 HSM + 1 backup token)
- 2. nCipher nShield PCI (1 HSM + key backups on floppies or cd's)
- 3. SPYRUS Links Series II USB HSM (1 USB HSM for production + 1 USB HSM for key backup)
Software requirement (min):
Infrastructure requirements (min):
- 1 MS Active directory domain (FQDN must correspond to CA domain, eg. CUSTOMER.COM)
- 1 Mail server hosted or not at customer premices but email of certificate holder must match AD FQDN, eg. xxxxxx@customer.com / yahoo or msn kind of email is not supported as mail domain does not match)
- Network connectivity between AD and CA
- Access to DNS servers configured as authoritative for that domain
- 1 publicly available web server to host the certificate revocation list CRL (must be known at request time)
